The Fairtex BGV1 is probably one of the most iconic muay thai glove in Thailand!  If you are (or aspire to be) a serious practioner of muay thai, then you have to own pair of these at least once in your muay thai career :).  I owned a pair of these myself during my amateur days...lasted me for 4 years until I lost them :(.  Must have been those pesky stray dogs who took them I tell yah.  They are designed by the Thais, and who know's muay thai better than the Thais right?  Their structural design makes them great for power punchers because you can really feel the power transfer and impact with each strike.  Just ask Yodsanklai Fairtex.  In summary, Fairtex BGV1 are a great pair for serious athletes but equally great for the beginner who wants to invest in their training.
